Can't do it on my own all the time.

Occasionally you come across someone who, within moments of meeting them you feel an affinity to; you feel as though you understand them and, even more inportantly, they seem to understand you. These people are to be cherished.
I am privileged to know three people who fall into this category (not that I want to sound like I am creating a catalogue of friends)..but all three have shown me more about myself than I could possibly do on my own.
Don't get me wrong, I have quite a few friends who know me well but no amount of time will ever bring the understanding that comes with a true bond. I wouldn't call them acquaintences - after all I have known a lot of them for many years. But, by the same token, none of them know the "inner me". The ones who do, the ones who really understand, the ones I can really identify with and feel that I can share anything with are different. It is as much their characters as it is mine that allows this bond. Soulmates? I don't know. Special? Definitely. Indispensible? Of course.
Let me introduce you....
